Don't panic. I'm referring to the optical lenses, not to any impending mid-life crisis. Or maybe I am, in the physical rather than psychological sense. The ol' peepers are starting to let in too much light. The glare is irritating and can sometimes blur text at a distance on an especially bright day. That's not good news for when I'm driving and looking out for directional signs at the same time. The situation is not bad yet, but there's no harm in taking precautionary measures.
For my degree of myopia, apparently only Zeiss Transitions lenses will do and they don't come cheap. Fortunately, insurance will foot the bill. Thank God for corporate!
